Creating Analysis Templates

1

Selecting an Analysis

A Template is created from an Analysis, so you will need to determine the Analysis you want to use to create the Template. We suggest you use the Analysis Library to find an Analysis that you have already created. Your Analysis should be generic enough to handle any Dataset you want to use it on.

Creating the Template

You can create a Template by using the “Create Template” option in the Analysis. This will allow you to name your Template and save it to the Templates Library. You should give your Template a name that will help you identify it and that makes sense for other people who may use it.

3

Accessing the Template

You can access the new Template from the Template Library. When viewing a Template, you can also see what Analysis were made from it.

Using Analysis Templates

When you create an Analysis, you can select the Template as the basis for the Analysis. You can also use the Template from the “Create Analysis” dropdown in the Analysis Library.
